Quantum Inventions Releases Location-Sense Data for Contextual Advertising
Quantum Inventions, Singapore’s home-grown pioneer in real-time traffic and connected navigation, today announced the release of location based data sets, its suite of research, data and analytical insights to help advertisers and advertising agencies get more value for their marketing spend by smarter location targeting and effectively measure the impact of their campaigns.
Existing ad engines provide location targeting through simple geographic demarcation or geo-fences. The first of its kind launch in Singapore, location-sense data could give marketers everywhere the ability to do fine grained sophisticated audience targeting by scoring and categorizing locations on various metrics. This information can be integrated into the broader marketing data ecosystem, giving brands the one-off ability to map real-world behaviors, consumer habits and travel patterns against specific campaigns.

Through their location-based data, QI also gives marketers the kind of attribution analytics they need to measure the true impact of their campaign on their target consumer segments. It builds upon its fundamental technologies such as TRIP (Traffic Information Platform) as well as products in telematics and navigation to offer data analytics and insights collected over the years. The data highlights price, location and transience scores for a location along with peak times.
Saurav Bhattacharyya, CEO of Quantum Inventions, said that this release would make it possible for advertisers to understand audiences at a much deeper level.

The release will provide a level-playing field to smaller firms as they can like their larger counterparts, apply the insights to effectively target audience segments, without having to shell-out a fair share of their marketing budget into such research. Currently available as a pdf report, the data will be available in machine readable form upon request.
